He'll have a point to prove and hopefully Fury's reign as champion will be looked at historically as an anomaly and not as a damning indictment of the state of heavyweight boxing.

Cannot stand Fury, but he did what he had to do on the night last time out and deserved his win. I think an up for it Wlad stops Fury, but any sort of over caution on Wlad's behalf will see Fury win handily on points.

As for the state of the heavyweight division, it is already dire regardless of Fury's status as the heavyweight champion of the world. Cannot think on an era as weak as the current one tbh. People used to slag off the heavyweight divisions of the 80's and 90's, but some all time greats or very close to that level came out of those eras, and many of the journeymen from those eras were at least as good if not better than many of the top guys now.

Just imagine any of the top guys in 2016 against say the 1982 version of Larry Holmes (if Larry had modern day training and diet) or the 1986 to 1989 Mike Tyson.

Or from the early to mid 90's Bowe or Lewis.

Most of today's top guys would be seen as decent to middling record padders for those guys.

The heavyweight division today is just so shallow when it comes to genuine top level talent. Most eras have a few guys that will have folks saying they could have competed in any era, but the only guys from the past 16 years who could possibly have that sort of argument made for them would probably be the Klitschko brothers.

Just sad to see a once lauded division laid so low. That being said it had a good run as being one of most important sporting achievements on the planet.

I'm tipping Brook to cause an upset . I'm probably being bias but we'll see. I did watch the Golovkin fight against Ouma the other day and I must say, Ouma was giving him nightmares until he eventually got stopped in the 10th round. Ouma, was catching him with all sorts of shots and walking through Golovkin's punches. I think Brook can do the same and is much more faster than Ouma too. For me the difficult bit for Brook is not allowing Golokvin to cut off the ring. Golovkin is very good at this which we all know.

I think Kell should try to frustrate Golovkin and to do this he will need to punch and clutch. If he can do this for several rounds he will frustrate Golovkin and make him take risks. Golovkin's used to fighting slow guys with no footwork who stand in front of him. Yes, Golovkin has power but it's all based off his ring cutting. He backs people people into the ropes and throws at a stationary target. Also, people may disagree but I do think Golovkin is one dimensional. However, his one dimension is very good indeed. But like I said if Kell can stop him from cutting off the ring with footwork, tie ups and stiff arms he can definitely win no doubt about it.

Don't think much can be read into the Ouma fight to be honest as it was five years ago and GGG has fought 14 times since that bout.

I think GGG can appear one dimensional at times but a lot of that is simply down to him doing the basics very very well and not being forced to change things by his opponents. Yes a lot of what he does comes from him cutting off the ring but that in itself is a difficult thing to do, and since Ouma he has faced a number of middleweight who would be quicker and more powerful than Ouma and none have given him a really stern test.

Cannot knock your logic with regards to how a fighter like GGG can be beaten. It would take a very skilled and savvy technician (not to mention durable) to frustrate him and ultimately take advantage of any chinks in his gameplan, but I don't think that Brook is that man at middleweight. I might be proven horribly wrong of course, but I'm of the thinking that a good big 'un nearly always beats a good little 'un.

Brook has never beaten or faced a middleweight before, has never traded with on in a bout that matters, and he is not an unusually quick fighter at his previous weight so cannot see him being that much quicker than some of those GGG has already faced at middleweght.

Would be a result for the ages if Brook did pull out a result, but I reckon he has less chance against GGG than Khan had against Alvarez. Khan for me is a better boxer than Brook and Alvarez is an inferior fighter and boxer than GGG.

Brook looking in great shape at the weigh in.

Pity for him it's not a body building competition.

I agree he looked fantastic. I think he will give Golovkin his biggest test tomorrow. One thing Kell has is timing and if he can get this right and fight as I mentioned the other day he will pull it off imo. I can't wait until the fight

I'll be utterly amazed if he presents any challange to Golovkin.

He's the pre-eminent middleweight who's not been in trouble in a fight in recent memory.

Brooks an alphabet welterweight belt holder whos reign of terror has included JoJo Dan and Frankie Gavin. He's jumping 2 weight divisions to take on a consensus top 3 P4P fighter.

If Brook wins it'll be up there with the biggest upsets in boxing history.

This fight lasts as long as GGG wants it to. imo.

Hope and expect Brook to get smashed up tomorrow night. GGG is on a totally different level.

Those over the guard shots he throws to the top of the head are like sledge hammers, was watching some of his fights earlier, a couple of things stood out, those shots i spoke of, and the fact i've never seen so many boxers show real pain on their faces like the opponents of GGG.

                            He hurts, he hurts baaaad.

Well Brook is doing better than I expected. Still say 5th or 6th and he's out of there
