            Great result for Kell
Didn't get a bad beating and enhanced his rep

Should have let him carry on.....corner saved him from the canvas. Shame that.

Hmm, not sure about the towel being thrown in there. It was a bit of a sentimental one. A lot of other trainers wouldn't have I don't think.

Does GGG beat Canelo then? Ward?

The amount of visible Golovkins kept going up the longer he talked!

Brook was brilliant but he looked like it was the 12th round in every round, was always going to catch up to him. Shame Khan will continue to duck him. Brook would give Canelo hell at 154, get that on.

Another round and Brook would've been flattened. He's definitely not a middleweight. He couldn't stop Golovkin or hurt him. He did a lot better than expected. It's proved that at welterweight or light middleweight, he could be very competitive against elite opponents. The quality of his opponents have generally been unsatisfactory so it's difficult to see.

I wish he didn't talk so much **** in the fight interview. He covered himself with glory this evening, but the bs he was talking about 'just getting going' and hurting him twice was a joke. Then having a double defence by blaming the injury too...

I don't think it's straightforward for Kell against top fighters, but he's definitely in with a shout. Guys Lara could prove to be too slick for him. Khan is probably the best fight for him now if they can get it done. Both of their eyes were too big for their stomach's and were humbled at middleweight. Makes sense, maybe the promoters see bigger money later down the line.

Wasn't Golovkin's best performance. But hey he got it done. He didn't look 100%, there were rumours he was a bit sick or something and that may explain it. Some of his vulnerabilities were exploited. I'm just not sure there's a good enough middleweight to expose them at the moment. Jacobs (underrated) would be a good fight. I maintain that it would be a terrible fight for Canelo if it's ever made as I believe Alvarez to be far too ponderous to compete with Golovkin and he's lost a lot of credibility with these catchweights and the decision to vacate his title. Eubank isn't ready, and I'm not sure if he's good enough. I'm not a big fan of Saunders, but his style may put him in good stead. I said a few years ago that Andre Ward would probably beat him and I stand by that, but with Ward moving upto light heavy and being a comfortable super middleweight, with GGG being a small middleweight doesn't really make the prospect of the fight viable.

Quite a few people predicted the 5th round too tbf, probably the most bet on round.
