Just realised it's a little over a month til Golovkin v Canelo - I've seen barely any promo? Wtf? Is it just me? An absolutely massive, proper super fight. Can't wait.

Indeed, it's being eclipsed by a freak show. It should be an easy fight for Golvkin in my mind, but Canelo is a quality opponent so could end up interesting.

The last 2 years or so have produced some excellent fights with top guys putting it all on the line. It's really encouraging when you consider 2-4 years ago there were disappointments week after week. Controversy, **** fights, one sided match making etc. The biggest joke of all is that the 'sports fan' doesn't care and says boxing is dead because Mayweather 'runs' and will have no idea about some of the events taking place and will base their entire opinion on an exhibition between a retired boxer and an MMA fighter.

After the insane amount of hype on some of the recent non-events, that's probably not a bad thing.

Heh....one of the most dominant heavies ever and the lead on his retirement is that there will be no rematch with Joshua.

                    Piss poor from the BBC.

History will be kind to Wlad. One of the best heavies ever.

Who next for Joshua then? The only other threat seems to be Wilder.

Anything to stop that fight from happening now?

                        Povotkin apparently.

I like him but Wlad destroyed him a few years back and Joshua should have no problems either.

Don't think Wilder poses any threat to Joshua.

Only possible threat is Fury if he get his head straight.

Other than that Joshua can rule the division for a long time.

I would like to see Parker against Joshua, but i don't think he'll be able to take his power, his speed may cause Joshua some problems though. He definitely should test himself against JP before Fury.

Parker fighting Hughie Fury in September. Will tell you all you need to know about Parker.

This far he's a bit of a hype job. Looked very unimpressive in his last fight.

Tyson Fury looks just as out of shape as ever. I know you can ignore his retirement talk (again) as you can't believe a word he says, but I genuinely don't think he's capable of getting himself back in decent enough shape this time around.

Wilder looks the only one who is at least dangerous to me. He's a bit, erm, wild, but he looks capable of knocking Joshua out at least.

To me he looks the most viable opponent but strangely, no one seems to be talking up that fight?

Povotkin, Parker etc. would all be comfortable wins for Joshua.

Joshua needs credible opponents, or he'll never become a true great, no matter what he does.
