I can't see him recovering from that now. He's been exposed and that'll give everyone he fights from now on a lot of confidence.

Ruiz had quick and heavy hands and AJ couldn't cope, but Wilder would send him to sleep with one hit and Fury would outbox him at 80%. He's done now I think.

"There are big questions about AJ's engine now. It will be interesting to see if there any changes made to his team because it is something that would not surprise me."

Before the seventh and final round, Joshua looked perplexed in his corner and simply said to McCracken: "Why am I feeling like this?"

And Eddie Hearn told media after the shock: "Everyone will remember it forever. This will eat him up bad. Some fighters lose and fight back, some never come back the same."

Wouldn't surprise me if he is suffering from a concussion sustained in the third round.

There's a great post on Reddit transcribing the conversations between Joshua and McCracken in-between rounds

The first knockdown punch caught him right on the ear/temple. It ruined his equilibrium, his legs went, and he never recovered from it. He's shown in the past he's recovered from some big shots, so that really must have caused him problems.

He's normally a supreme athlete, but he didn't look 100% ready for that fight. He was sluggish from the start. He looked gassed after about 4 rounds.

I've said for a while he's wasted the past year or so of his career when he should have been fighting Wilder/Fury. He's focussed too much on the media/money side of things. As a result he's gone stale, and rusty.

I think those that are writing him off are wrong though. The fact is there aren't that many great heavyweights about, so he's still right up there with the best of them. He still has time on his side to recover his career.

I thought Lennox Lewis' twitter posts were quite interesting and he blamed a lot of Joshua's failings on the trainers
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

You got to love Fury. Comes out to Apollo creed, puts on a boxing masterclass (the way he slipped and dodged those punches in round 2 was brilliant) and then sings an Aerosmith song at the end of the fight. Yes, he was boxing against a novice but you still have to give Fury credit. He looked good and makes switching from orthodox to southpaw look simple

I went to the Warrington v Galahad fight last night. How did people score it? I was rooting for Galahad but I didn't think he did enough to win it in Warrington's back yard. I was surprised to read peoples comments on social media, boxing forums etc as a lot of them had Galahad winning. I had a pretty good view inside the arena. I'm gonna have to watch it back to see if my views change

I`ve really warmed to fury lately and he is actually a decent fighter and should be given a lot more credit

He's the best heavy on the planet.

A genius in the ring. A 6 foot 9 and 265lbs heavy who moves like a middleweight.

He might even be close to breaking the top 100 heavyweights of all time!

Would love to see him fighting AJ although can’t see it because style wise Fury is AJ’s worst nightmare. In any case fury could be heavyweight champion without fighting him now.

Khan is such a joke BBC
Amir Khan expects to retire if he does not perform or "feel good" when he faces Neeraj Goyat on 12 July.

The Briton, 32, has drawn scrutiny for choosing to face India's Goyat in Saudi Arabia for a reported £7m.

Khan lost to Terence Crawford in April and has been linked with fights against British rival Kell Brook and Filipino great Manny Pacquiao.

"Let's see how I feel in this fight. If I don't feel like myself, I'll probably just call it a day," Khan said.

The former super-lightweight world champion told BBC Sport: "I want to be the one who makes that decision. I don't want to be forced to retire.

"I have achieved what I wanted to achieve in the sport, so it's now just enjoying the sport. I want to see how I feel in the fight and take it from there.

"If things didn't go the right way or I don't feel good I know myself I would hang up the gloves right away."

Pacquiao vs Thurman on the weekend. What do we think? I'm picking Thurman by KO. Think he should have too much for an old Manny. The middle to latter rounds may not be great for Manny.

Without being spectacular there should be some decent bouts on the undercard.
