                                Sagan is amazing but it was a surprise to see him beat Greipel in a flat sprint. I wonder if Greipel would have won if he hadn't fallen earlier in the stage. Also Sagan didn't sprint on Thursday - maybe that took a little out of Greipel's legs.

                                I've now watched Thursday's sprint. It seems to me Cavendish had too much to do and maybe he too was hurting from the fall the day before. But Greipel did look good and deserved to win.

                                The Olympic road race should be fun with Sagan, Cavendish, Greipel and Goss all on for it. On their day any of them could win a bunch sprint. Boonen too.
