It wasn’t a red and it was a harsh yellow. Eyes on the ball all
    The way

Eyes on the ball is irrelevant

The Law above mentions it specifically. They’ve just discussed it at length in the studio also.

Agree with this though. What even are the Lions tactics? Two games in and I am none the wiser.

Kick the leather off the ball and “win” the kick chase......both games v similar and small margins decided both before the tide turned. Next week will be the same but the Boks being match sharpened now will be big favourites

The Lions could feasibly change 5/6 players now - the Boks may be without PSDT and Faf but I suspect but will be fit.

Lions were at the best last week making gains with one out runners. But maybe that was down to the mental bomb squad decision at HT last week with a dominant front row all getting the hook?

I don’t think those tactics you mention above will work. That’s what SA want us to do.

Have to say I thought Murray poor again, really really slow to a few rucks, and not sure his box kicking is better than Prices anyway.

Loads of potential changes to consider.

I didnt say I think it was good - that’s what they did. They need to match them up front and keep going through phases - error count was huge today and many players lost their heads

Looking for reasons for a red is desperate to say the least. It wasn’t a red in my eyes and it can be debated all you like.

Tip tackle from Watson in the first test.

                        Comes back around

For **** sake mate. I said so didn’t want it to be a red. At least three times.

But it is by the letter of the Law. No chance of claiming the ball, player taken out in the air, dangerous landing. It’s not football, eyes on the ball doesn’t matter.

                          Kolbe could well be cited.

Few players for me were nowhere near the level

Harris - did he offer anything all game?
Hogg- high ball as a lot were concerned about before the first test let alone the second. Way off it
Van Der Merwe - Now the second game he looked miles out of his league
Mako - strange starter he’s an impact player

The tactics with the little chips made no sense, we didn’t do it first test and it certainly didn’t work

                              Yep, that was a yellow.

It clearly isn’t. If it was it would have been. It was looked at loads and the right decision (maybe) was the outcome.
