It’s his goal kicking that worries me slightly - he doesn’t even kick at club level but faultless so far. He is a maverick and let’s hope it’s his day todayOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostMy heart is beating
Nervous for Finn. Press will savage him if he makes any mistake. But it’s much better than the boring percentage kick chase that Biggar was serving up.

The maverick tag is a bit over used, listening to ROG who mentioned he was speaking to his coach at Racing, who mentions how much of a student of the game Finn is. Pours over videos of teams looking for weaknesses.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostIt’s his goal kicking that worries me slightly - he doesn’t even kick at club level but faultless so far. Markus Smith plays the same yet is never referred to in the same terms.
Finn has been quality for years, let’s hope he uses this opportunity to prove it.
He kicks for Scotland, he’s no Laidlaw/Farrell but is solid enough.Modifying post.

He’s not a Spencer or Cooper but his style of play behind a pack under pressure makes him look bad. If the pack give Price quick ball then Russell has the skills to excelOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostThe maverick tag is a bit over used, listening to ROG who mentioned he was speaking to his coach at Racing, who mentions how much of a student of the game Finn is.
