That red for the English seems astonishingly harsh
    Football without Origi is nothing

And the Argentina one confirmed yellow. Struggle to understand this sport at the best of times but this just makes it all the more baffling

Impressive win from England. Playing with 14 for pretty much the entire game. Phenomenal defence throughout.

Utterly abysmal from Argentina though, one of the most error strewn performances I’ve ever witnessed- and I recalll Scotland through the 90’s and 00’s.

I'm glad someone else is saying this - I really don't understand that red card

Yes it was a head to head collision but he was clearly trying to wrap the jumper up when he landed and just mistimed it

No malice at all - maybe there's something in the rules I'm not aware of around head collisions?

Intent doesn’t come into it in Rugby - bad tackle technique is enough, player safety is paramount. The bunker review helped also it means ten mins are spent reviewing which also takes the heat out of the decision.

It was maybe slightly unlucky, but in the current climate probably wasn’t that wise a tackle to go for. Curry hasn’t played for ages he is a high energy player always looking for impact. He can be a bit of a liability.

It did seem to galvanise England.

That’s three reds in three games however which is a slightly worrying g trend.

Andy Goode is a decent (ex England) pundit, this summarises well why it is a red.

No consistency it seems with the head clashes. Rugby has got itself into a bit of a mess at the moment.

Scot’s decent for the first half, SA dominated from the restart. Hard to look past them tbh

South Africa are just a Rugby machine. The line speed and ferocity at the breakdown a step up from anything we’ve seen.

We had one moment in the first half which ‘could’ have been pivotal but Darcy Graham butchered a 3-1.

Only good news is most of this ZA pack won’t be at the next World Cup! I think the only other team that I have seen that remove most of our potency is… sadly for us… Ireland.

Probably should have been a red at the start based on Curry’s yesterday but you don’t really want to have a better chance of winning a game because of something like that.

They’ve got the lot haven’t they? Just an insane Rugby machine.

Kriel should’ve been sent off and it’s a different game but Russell probably deserved one if not two yellows. SA are bigger and stronger and have depth - they beat you up, turn you over time and time again. Then they finish you off out wide.

I really like Scotland but their pack isn’t up to it at the very highest level. Starve them if hall and that dangerous back line is ineffective, having said that the SA rush defense smothered them most times the ball was quick

Out pack is ok against everyone bar, basically you guys and South Africa! We do ok v France and even the ABs. I think we won the most scrum pens in the 6 nations. Which just reinforces how much of a ****ing nightmare this draw is.

Fiji are the best team to watch for sure. I hope they win this.

It’s a massive game now. And dependent on how you go v SA will be for you also.

And that assuming Tonga don’t land any blows.

                                Wales playing quite well now.
