Was just going to post that.

What a way to bow out of your one and only World Cup. McInally is arguably a better selection anyway.

One thing on our game v SA it was interesting to see how the breakdown was officiated- it was the wild west at times. It does make for a massive change to how teams play the game.

Will be interesting to see how that plays out in the Nev v Zapater game in a few weeks.

I heard a stat today that something like 80% of breakdown infringements are missed by the referee.

I get that some stuff is going to be because it's bloody hard - I know - but I get super frustrated when the obvious stuff like side entry gets isn't picked up.

Really can't see the mitigation in that France not-a-red. Any mitigation was minor compared to the illegality and danger of the tackle. You could see the French dude was fairly sure he was gone.

I missed the game last night, but yeah, this is a red. Doesn’t even need the bunker review.

Not sure why the inconsistencies are appearing in the review system.

I've always been a big advocate of how rugby has been officiated but so far this world cup it's been pretty poor for me with constant inconsistencies it's tbh been a bit of a farce.

I think rugby has backed itself into a bit of a corner with the changes they've made, most games you're going to see a red at the moment and that's not good for the spectacle of the sport so I think in some cases it's almost turn a blind eye.

              Real shame.

I think there are also some inconsistencies between how NH and SH refs view the game which may be adding to this. But yep, for it to be rearing up at the WC is a real shame. As it stands Tom Curry can feel fairly hard done to, but realistically it is the players who didn’t get reds that should feel lucky.

Yeah, Curry was unlucky but I can see why it was given as the rules are (don't really agree with them) it's those that have dodged the reds that are more infuriating as whilst you don't want to see games decided that way what you do want is consistency.

How the one last night wasn't given I'll never know!

Yeah that one is about as blatant as it gets. Shoulder to head no arms tackle. Red all day long. He will get cited I think.

The reffing in the Wales Fiji match was a joke. It will be interesting to see how it plays out this weekend with a few intriguing south sea island v tier one match ups. Let’s see if there really is a bias.

As with the English one I was at a pub but no sounds so couldn't hear the chat. No idea how the French yellow wasn't upgraded.

31-13 up at half time v Tonga, bonus point but v physical game. Need to see it home and no injuries or suspensions!

Nice Was a tough game but we managed it professionally I thought and outside of Bealham we look good on the injury front

                              Massive game next weekend now
