Ya, they came strong at the end but Wales defended their line heroically, should’ve had a couple of yellows for persistent fouling thoughOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostHow have Fiji not won that? Thought the double movement one was harsh and also thought Wales should have had player in the bin earlier.
Not grounding three times and then that Randrada knock on with the line in front of them.

We will take that win anyday - how tense was that last 5 mins - I watched it hiding behind me sofaOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostYa, they came strong at the end but Wales defended their line heroically, should’ve had a couple of yellows for persistent fouling though

Someone on your side of the draw will get to the semi final vs a beaten up and patched together side…… yourselves, England and Aus have a good chance of a finalOriginally posted by bacon View PostWe will take that win anyday - how tense was that last 5 mins - I watched it hiding behind me sofa

Yep. SickeningOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostSomeone on your side of the draw will get to the semi final vs a beaten up and patched together side…… yourselves, England and Aus have a good chance of a final
Was a strange old performance from Wales. Looked really good for the middle 40. Then some kamikaze play in in the last 10.
I’d not rule Fiji out but, they need a ref to be fair with them. And they need more composure in the 22.Modifying post.

Would be extremely pleasantly surprised - but yeah the stupidly lopsided draw gives us the opportunity for sure . .. plenty of time to **** it up thoughOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostSomeone on your side of the draw will get to the semi final vs a beaten up and patched together side…… yourselves, England and Aus have a good chance of a final

Huge loss, arguably our most important player and Rassie and Jacque finally figured out we win more when he starts than as part of the bomb squad. Oh well, we have good options at hooker. Get Pollard back into the squad. I'd be tempted to play him at 12 tbh.Originally posted by Irishnev View Post

From the outside perspective, I’d be tempted to say your most influential is Kolise just because of how he leads. Am was the best player and even though ye’ve a load of depth, you don’t have a like for like. Kriel is good but he’s not AmOriginally posted by Zapater View PostHuge loss, arguably our most important player and Rassie and Jacque finally figured out we win more when he starts than as part of the bomb squad. If I look at a SA team and wish certain guys were missing then for those who went to the WC it’s Ezebeth that I wish didn’t start

Interesting, I've always thought Kriel is absolute dog****, which seems to be a popular opinion among Bok fans. Am was top dog and we don't seem to have obvious experienced alternatives. As is, I'd prefer Moodie or trying de Allende or Willemse in a somewhat unfamiliar position.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostFrom the outside perspective, I’d be tempted to say your most influential is Kolise just because of how he leads. Dweba is the obvious replacement for Marx but think pollard would bring more to the squad now. Would still back Libbock but his calmness, quality and being able to play a few positions would help.

I’m not as close to the squad as you so I’ll trust your opinion - I thought he did v well vs Scotland
