I'm off to Murrayfield in a few hours. Should be an intriguing match today, will be interesting to see how Scotland manage without Laidlaw. I think Price is a good scrum half, and will perhaps give the backs quicker ball than Laidlaw, but it's Greigs kicking and captaincy we may miss against a far more experienced Welsh team.

Ireland France promises to be bruising, the French pack are monsters.
Obviously I'm for the other team but enjoy man, hopefully as a spectacle it'll live up to the other games we've had so far

      Cheers!

It's starting to brighten up a bit. The weather has been ****ing awful which could have ruined it a bit, but it's shaping up for a perfect afternoon.

It'll be interesting to see how Sexton stands up to the French today, they'll be targeting him from the get go

Jaysus the Scots are getting murdered in the scrum. And Wales are up so fast on them in open play.

Great game. Scotland staying in it well.

Not sure that 10 of Wales points from the first half should have stood.

The scrum preceding the try from which Wales took the quick tap ought to have been given to Scotland as the maul was formed from a catcher being held. Lacey (wrongly) gave it the other way.

Then the passage of play just before Ha'penny's second pen saw him tackle Visser in the air. It wasn't dangerous and Visser wasn't miles off the ground but a tackle in the air is an offence and a pen' ought to have gone to the Scots.

                Well it mattered not.

Surprised Buzzo hasn't appeared to talk us through it. Must admit I didn't see Scotland being capable of producing a second half performance of that quality after looking largely off the pace for the first 40.

And I wonder where the French team got to?

They certainly didn't turn up at the Aviva.

Been out drinking since the game, however....

Stodgy first half from us, where our game plan played directly to Wales, predictable and unusually uninspiring from us... however.... Halfpennys miss before half time invigorated us, and unlucky not to get a try we only went in4 points down.

Second half was almost flawless. Finn Russell dominating and our backs the difference when we got in good field position , 20 unanswered points.

Monumental work from Russell, a couple of moments of genius from Hogg, Dunbar playing and carrying like Jamie Roberts used to. But special mention to Tim Visser, a try, an assist coming off his own wing and a try saving tackle.

Impressive. Yet still not a flawless match from us, I think we can play better.

Twickenham next... I was about 4 since we last won there so not overly optimistic.

It's now 1:30 I'm home and listening to Therapy? (They were quite good) after a massive Akimbo session.

Rugby Offers al the things in sport that football has long since lost. (Or am I just pissed) feeling awesome right now though. Great to be in a sporting scenario where it's great to be Scottish.

                        I love this team.

                          ?

Haha. We actually listened to Troublegum last weekend and had to turn it of off. Haha. I was never into them tbh.

Totally get what you're saying about sport in the larger context though. Football's soul was lost sometime in 1991 I think.
                          Oh I don't know.

Yeah football is basically a horrible souled sport.

I'm listening to Troublegum and quite enjoying it. Suspect I may be a bit pissed!

Just had an urge for some later day Johnny Cash though.u
