Given we comfortably beat both Wales and Ireland and Glasgow made the last 8 of the Champions Cuo destroying Leicester and Racing 92 home and away (Finn Russell out playing Dan Carter home and away) it would be fair to say I disagree with that squad.

Tomorrow will be interesting for sure - it will be hard to pick the squad which indicates a lot of options for Gatland (not sure if good or bad).

Its been a long timer since we've had a case for a few players. I will be disappointed if we don't get at least 4. 4 out of 37 is **** all.

I cant stand Gatland, and require very little encouragement to hate him even more.

If he takers a conservative team, he will deserve everything he gets.

I love Lions tours and every country gets so parochial about their players but come tour time you row in behind them. They have a chance this time, brilliant as NZ are they tend to start slow in their seasons and the Lions games will be their first tests if I have read correctly.

The midweek games will be as tough against the provinces so a durable squad is a necessity as there will be hard hits a plenty!

I think going on a Lions tour is a real boon to a players confidence and experience, look at Hogg on the last one. It is a platform to really grow in confidence careers are forged on Lions tours.

And it is for that reason that I hope we have a few boys to get support. Otherwise it is hard to find a way into it all these days.

I think Huw Jones might of gone had he been fit (as does Clive Woodward) have seen all of them feature in various squad predictions.
