Bottas is really upset he hasn't gone to mighty McLaren.

Was a good article from David Coultard on the BBC recently about F1. He said drivers used to be physically and mentally shot when they finished some races but not anymore, its all too easy.

I hate all the management of the cars these days, I know to an extent it was always there but it all feels so much more stage managed these days than just letting the drivers going out there and you know race.

You're right about the Monaco and Spanish GPs both I've always found utterly tedious anyway but without the hiccup and the poor start from Lewis on another track that's not really built for overtaking he'd have won those easily as well.

The comments from Alonso recently on how F1 has gone the wrong direction is telling imo. It's not the "test" it once was imo which is a real shame, it's supposed to be the pinnacle of motor racing but it feels like a dumb down version of what it really should be at present.

...F1 has got so boring that nobody is even bothering to comment on this now

If Monaco hadn't happened, and had Vettel not gotten in Lewis's way in Spain, I reckon Lewis would have won every race this season at a canter. I know Rosberg won in Spain, but we've seen how he reacts when he has Lewis on his tail.

With Mercedes being so utterly dominant, its starting to feel like the Ferrari Schumacher era. At least when Red Bull were at the top, you had one season with 7 different winners in the first 7 races, and Alonso taking Vettel to the last race twice. This is different, the formula is knackered.

He said like 4 or 5 times in the interview afterwards that he was lucky. I don't think that he did anything wrong. Better than Hamilton walking about with a long face.

Vettel was the best in that regardless, especially his joke about being happy when it was all about the Hamilton/Mercedes/Rosberg situation.

Aye calamitous how that worked out, still think Hamilton will win the title, he's quite simply the fastest man out there this season, and it will take a heap of bad luck to do enough for him not to win it imo.

The way he's been this season and the end of last, once the initial disappointment passses; it will only make him more determined.

****ing joke this Monaco race, nothing ever happens. "Your brakes are a little warm, back off"

"Your brakes are ok now, speed up"
