I'm a bit surprised that Lewis has chosen to have the number 44 on his car rather than 1 for the world champion.

Weird, Vettel did exactly the same in qualifying in this race last season in the Red Bull, splitting the Mercs.

Eddie Jordan saying shenanigan's between Hamilton and Rosberg let Vettel in.

Excellent stuff from Vettel to get P2 and very close to Hamilton.

Verstappen gets 6th. Not bad for a 17 year old.

Apparently his parents weren't happy about it, he'd been with his wife for 14yrs, she'd just given birth too, he left a few months later for ginge.

He's not taken too well to not having the best car on the grid these past two seasons and I can't imagine the loss of Vettel to a rival that seemingly looks more competitive than them either has helped his outlook on F1.

Amazing how short term his memory is !

Horner gets on my tits now, nothing worse than a past winner now a loser whinging about other cars being better, when all was just lovely and fine when his team were dominating.

Sort it out with Renault horner, you and the other teams are letting the sport down, not mercedes!

He'd be as happy as a pig in **** if he was at Mercedes!

How do we fix it lads? It's getting silly now. Horners idea of banning wind tunnels would be a good start. There's an opportunity coming when the next big rule changes take place. They need to sort it.

It's unbelievable that somehow Renault have managed to come to this season with a worse engine than last season just so poor.

The sport is being hampered by rules designed to cut costs but it stops development and ensures us that either Hamilton or Rosberg will be F1 champions this season.

I'm hopeful that it will improve as the season progresses as although it was a one team race for the title last season it was a good season to watch with the chasing teams much closer together I don't want to see another season of Vettel where he won 9 in a row hopefully Rosberg will have enough about him to not allow that to happen

The best thing about it was Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Yeah, Nasr did do very well, but that was also an indictment on how **** the Renault engine is - it never looked like having enough pace to get past the Sauber / Ferrari even with DRS. The sport is dying, and this race was a symptom.

Awful race wasn't it. 3 drivers with Amy credit for me Lewis did what he had to do, impressive debut from Nasr and dare I say Button who managed to get that dog of a McLaren to the end

    Terrible GP
