The Spa fallout should have been done behind closed doors, that was harsh on Rosberg publicly blaming him (although it was his fault!) I can't imagine other teams doing that to a driver.

I think he cracked tbh with the Spa crash and since then he's a rough time of it what with being booed, car failure and not dealing with the pressure Hamilton has out him under.

If I was in charge of a team the closed doors. But you do get the impression merc want to be different. Or at least seen as different.

We all complain about the faceless corporate f1.

Rosberg admitted he did it on purpose, Mercedes didn't 'blame' him.

Once Hamilton made that public, what were they meant to do ?

Oh vermy its all a bit more complicated than that.

            Really?

I don't see Rosberg as being 'hung out to dry' is all.

Quite a simple point, and not at all complicated.

Yeah it us. Its a situation that has been building over time. Looking at that incident in isolation your sort of right. Though Hamilton released the info when he shouldn't have. Also he made it sound worse than it was.

I seem to recall that this started (from Romberg's point of view) when Hamilton used a boost setting they were told not to, to stay ahead of rosberg. Since then it has grown and grown. Lewis has managed his or much better and looks to have won the internal battle. I think that has 'broken' rosberg more than anything.

I do hope that the double points for the last race doesn't make a difference

Double points or worse car reliability. Hopefully we can see them both race it out for the title

So looks like Alonso is defo on the way out of Ferrari and very likely to be rocking up in Woking. Interesting!

Will need to go a bit better than last time.

Guess Jensen is on his way out then.

I read that Honda want both jb and fa. Both ex wdc and jb is very popular over there.

Also read Honda are currently at least three months behind schedule and currently the power unit is overweight lacking in power and its thirsty.

Read Dennis might be getting the elbow too. Promised financing, didn't deliver.

                            He turned Martini down

They are not paying Willi that much. Willi recognised they couldn't demand the fees they used to so got Martini.

I think it would be wise for JB to retire at the end of the season. He's getting on a bit now and I can't see him going elsewhere - faster teams wouldn't want him and slower teams wouldn't be worth the step down for in my opinion.

I like Mag so I hope he gets a seat. I think FA will be the number one driver with KM still developing and being number 2.

I can't see SV going to Ferrari I really can't. Unless of course they've got an ace up their sleeve which they're putting all their efforts into for next year - but I very much doubt that with the changes at the top of the team this year so I think they're having big problems.

So Vettel a Ferrari driver next season, Alonso will certainly be off then and the only real viable option is McLaren I guess.
