See above. And we have more than enough time. They're completely shot, they'll drop like skittles. We've crushed them physically and emotionally.

Now we're just grinding the heal to make sure they remember it.
Nige was interested for a moment there.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

KP looking like he'll miss the next test. Who would you all bring in?

      I've absolutely no idea

James Taylor? He's absolutely tiny and looked rubbish last summer though. Morgan? He's got a central contract so the selectors must think he's in contention, but I'm not a fan of him in the longer form of the game. Vaughan is championing another Yorkshire lad who I've never heard of.

They won't bring Compton back because they already said that he's not a middle order batsman and so isn't automatic choice should someone in those positions get injured.

They've completely given up, didn't even bother with the new ball. Lehman effect didn't last long.

not gonna happen, but the longer we bat the more it becomes slightly achievable.

Just watched the Ashes Virdict with all the England lads watching them doing a fielding demo on the pitch

Great stuff. These boys are so relaxed. It's great to see.

What a day yesterday, Root was completely brilliant. Seeing thr field drop to the boundary to stop runs rather than trying to take wickets was great to see!!

Shame we didn't stick the Aussies back in but get why we didn't 2 days left and let Root get his double tonne

                      I am horrendously hungover

A day at an Ashes Test really is the best day out

In complete contrast to the Sunday Supplement 'Cricket Writers on TV' on Sky is absolute class. Cricket massively lends itself to quality discussion. The Aussie writer Gideon Haigh is absolutely tremendous.
