i can't wait - as i posted before, i'm going sports direct tomorrow

i was just going to pick up a couple of air/training balls - the sort that bounce and have a hard surface so you can give em a whack, but they won't smash your jaw in or put holes in windows

but just looking at sports direct website atm

i reckon i might end up buying a new bat, some pads and gloves and a set of whites.

get it all for about £50 - **** quality ones like, but it would good for a laugh if i turn up in all the gear

we've already got some good stumps - these spring loaded ones, so you don't have to try and hammer them into the ground etc.

i used to be a bit of a spin bowler, but it's been a while, so it'll just be medium paced line and length from me

i will however be getting in close when fielding, maybe wicket keeper or in the slips, love taking an edge

my batting swing is more or less my golf swing now.

so unless i am just trying to block, 5 out of 6 balls will look a bit wild, but then all of a sudden i'll time it right and just ****ing drill one straight over the bowlers head with a little bit of draw
