they both do it a bit. It's been a funny match, Djokovic was looking down and out when he was a set and a break down but as happens a lot he comes back.
I think a lot of it is psychological with them all, you're winning and playing well the aches and pains disappear when it starts to go the other way they return.
I think Djokovic is by far the worst for it

Agreed mate, the cunt in the crowd should get a life ban for that.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostAbsolute cunt in the crowd. Should be banned for life from there.
Nadal has played 67 matches at Roland Garros. Won 66, lost 1. ****ing hell
Nuts isn't it, that record will never be beaten IMO

I think it's getting way too much attention. Tennis players are pussies, Djokovic ****ed up his service. It's not like that guy told him to serve a double fault. He did it all himself.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostOh and what a cunt in the crowd, that cost Djokovic the double fault and he didn't deserve to lose on a DF
I like the sport, but **** me. They cry over every bit of noise, the opponent hitting the ball at their body and get pissed off if the opponent doesn't apologise after getting assistance from the net. Imagine if Gerrard blamed the crowd for slipping against Chelsea or if Floyd Mayweather got angry that someone hit him with a body shot.

It's different if there is lots of noise all the time, but if the quiet is shattered then it must make them jump and lose concentration.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
I agree there's too much...what's the word.....in tennis, golf and snooker there's too much importance placed on absolute silence. How come other sports can manage playing amid noise, why can't they?

I reckon it's down to expectation and or gamesmanship. And manners and respect.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

Often you'll see a player about to serve when there's a lot of noise going on. The receiver will put the brakes on to disrupt the server's 'rhythm' or whatever.
At Wimbledon such cnuts are rare - the crowd will tell the loudmouth to piss off. Obviously, this doesn't apply in less civilised places (Paris, NY and Oz).
Tennis is a 'head' game: if your head isn't right, your game won't be right. Murray being a prime example of this syndrome.
To understand this all you have to do is to play competitive tennis - or at least follow it very closely. It's far less random than footy and you need a bit of a 'chess' approach.
Looking forward to some grass.

I used to play in my early teens
....for a couple of years at a club. It was too posh for me like. I found out recently that loads of the posh grown ups were all ****ing each other, like a mass wife swap thing. Mad.
I used to lose my head all the time, even playing against mates. Smashed loads of racquets up
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It's too posh by far. Costs a fekkin fortune. Why isn't this country more successful at tennis?
