According to Strava tonight's run was my 100th of the year so far. I've put in 96 hours 53 minutes, covered 1239km and gained 3773 metres in elevation. Despite Sunday's Great North Run **** up I'll take that especially after being injured and missing 2 months worth of training.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Started a new routine of pure dropsets...holy cow but that's a hard graft. Get a mental pump on but it's hard as nails. Arms wrecked today.

Dropsets are cool- but hard as you say.

Squats were back up to 147.5 x 5 the other day as back improves. 5x10 pull-ups were easy yesterday- have lost a coupla K with my injury, so am lighter to lift haha.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Really struggling with this running at the moment, just can't get into it at all.

Keep at it Slinky, you'll feel better for it.

Set yourself a monthly target or something. Maybe commit to matching Rowan's mileage?

                        You're having a laff aren't you!

I wish I could mate, going to try and aim to get out every day this week and see if I start feeling better.

Just feel weak and dizzy all the time, even if it's just a short 20 minute run I feel ****ing drained. My leg muscles get really tight dead quickly and I constantly have to stop/start.

Really pissing me off it is. I just don't think I have it in me to do the half marathon in November and I think because I'm in that negative mindset it's what's making me no push on.

An absolutely terrible 5.76km yesterday. Felt absolutely knackered the entire time, no energy, needed a poo after about a mile, and after a lap i went to get a drink of water, and some prick had taken the bottle off my water bottle (which I had left by a tree) and thrown it in a bush. Had my fitness test today. Ran for a full minute longer than I managed in March, which doesn't sound like much but as the test gets faster and steeper I'm pretty pleased with that. As was the consultant, which is the main thing.
