I'm going to try it. If I don't like it I'll feed it to the dog

Haven't done it for a month now due to lack of energy. Must get back into it.
Interesting way of doing it. Doesn't it give your arms too much of a battering? I find if you're pushing quite hard on the exhaustion bit at the end you need the recovery time.

        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Perhaps for the first 3 weeks you won't need the recovery time but after that, it may be worth considering it.

I made sure I did them roughly 24 hours from the last time I did them, otherwise I found myself struggling.

Ah, well you're made of sturdier stuff than I. The initial exhaustion test alone gave me serious axilla soreness

simmer it for as long as possible - at least 2hrs, if possible 3 or 4...

obviously not if you're starting now.

Back to using the My fitness Pal website/app.

You can now link it with Endomodo and track exercise too. Which is handy for when I do a bike ride, or go walking.

My back is proper ****ed- hasnt been right since August when I came back from a cold & didn't drop the weight on the deadlifts enough & ****ted it. Ever since I've been seeing the physio, resting & training as he instructed & I had a big long rest over Xmas but when I went back it was just as bad so I'm off to see an osteo for the 1st time tonight. Chiros have worked for me in the past so hopefully thisll sort it good & proper. Fed up of not being able to tear it up like 6 months back, it's proper frustrating & no way to start 2013.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I wouldn't touch a chiropractor with a ****ty stick, they're quacks but osteopaths are brilliant. The first couple of times will hurt but you get used to it and proper deep tissue massage is heavenly.

I've had back problems for 15 years and I've done it all - numerous physio courses, chiro, osteo and pain management - but I had surgery two years ago and had part of my L4/L5 disc removed.

Have had chiros really sort me in the past tho. I slipped a disk when I was 13 - had to spend a month lying on the floor on my back & have loads of sessions, but since then Ive gone on to do martial arts for years & lift heavy weights & all sorts. I also got 2 big back injuries in my 20s doing TKD but the right chiro sorted me out both times. Is it not just dependent who they are to some degree rather than their trade?

It could be but a lot of my family have been to chiros and all have had better results with osteos - I find chiros to be quite limited in only looking at spinal manipulation while osteos looked at the whole body and how it works together.

My old one was on Queens Drive in town and was the first person to tell me I had one leg slightly shorter than the other which was causing my pelvis to tilt which wasn't helping the prolapsed disc in my back on bit.

                              Furry muff.

My physio say I have lower body cross syndrome which I can see. However I dont think that is the immediate issue & Ive not really benefitted from 8 seshs or so with him other than in the short term.

Coincidentally, my mate is seeing a physio & has been told his problems come from having one leg longer than the other.

It's quite a common thing apparently, I think my right leg is about quarter/half an inch longer than my left.
