Tweaked something in my thigh when I was boarding on Monday and haven't been able to run (or board) all week. Going totally insane.

He won't be professional. Very, very few strongmen are, not enough money in it- aint like bodybuilding. Mark Felix for example is a plasterer and has a family to look after and is 47. ****all £s in strongman. If Thor was chasing the £s he would probably have been better to stick with his basketball he did most of his life.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

This oneOriginally posted by Slinky Skills View PostWhat running jacket have you guys gone for?
Mine is a florescent cycling jacket and it's not the best. Need something bit warmer with pockets to carry my phone and house keys.
Any tips?

I'm at 28km now.Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

arghhhh. I can't even cycle my bike properly after this weeks exertions. Tuesday was legs day and I smashed it. Today I can barely lift my legs, walk, ride a bike or climb stairs
Today is final day then I'm taking it easy for a few days to recover properly. Shoulders and upper chest then it's home for a valentines fillet steak dinner
I must say that the Viperboost tablets do give me more of an edge when training. Not really noticed that much off the Thermobol tablets yet but I havent' weighed myself in a few days so too early to tell if I've lost any more body fat.

never a truer word spoken
Cheers

Nice meme.
Just done a bit of deloading the last couple of days cos of my ear/hearing/balance being ****ed. 3 sets of 12 reps of 60% of my 5 rep max. Gives the joints a break & the muscles stimulation but doesnt break them down as much as a proper heavy sesh.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

7 and a half miles. First run since pulling up on Monday and something is definitely misfiring somewhere... But like all good addicts... I just can't stop
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Having to stick to 7 and a half milers till I can ease out of whatever I've done to my thigh. Hopefully sports massage on Monday will chase the pain away! 7:38/ mile pace.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. 10K race in Ilmington, Warwickshire this morning with some brutal hills. Last race of a 5 race series - managed to knock 1.5 mins off my previous times. Not my PB for a 10K - too hilly.
Lovely day for it as well - no wind and blue skies.
