So humid out there today! Glad to get that one out of the way after the Easter break. To be honest it felt really good. A few days rest has gotten rid of all that accumlated fatigue I'd built up.

1200 metre sprints at 6:00/mile pace mixed up with 4 miles steady. Ouch!
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
My knee is still knackered, but getting there slowly. I've signed up for Brighton marathon 2015 ffs. What a dick. My knee best be able to hack the training, let alone the race!
Went in the ballot for London but am expecting the big **** off. Might do Edinburgh though as it's meant to be easy... As far as marathons go anyway

Snap - entered the last 4 years and still haven't got anywhere! They used to do 5 in a row and you're in but that ended a while ago! Shame, Paris is meant to be a good one to do too!

I actually feel like I'm getting unfitter instead of fitter the more running I do.
Probably fatigue setting in mate after being such a lazy get for so long. Take a couple of days off and then you'll feel much better when you get back out there.
Supplements - Does any one take any for running? Is there anything that really helps with muscle recovery and fatigue? I've recently started taking l-carnitine which does seem to have helped, but I'm not sure if it's the placebo effect
