Forgot to mention that I ran home from work, only 1.7 miles though.

I hope without saying a word you just stood up from your desk, turned around and ran straight out the office, out of the building and all the way home.

Steady 4.5km last night, legs still not fully recovered from the 14km the other night. Nice to get it under my belt though.

10.2km. Progress seriously hampered by a series of quite harrowing Chinese burps that accompanied me on my way round.

I thought leaving two hours after eating would be enough of a gap but obviously not if you've eaten filth. Time to clean up my act

2 weeks off since busting my plantar and have been hammering the bike. Felt great. Voucher day at my local running store so thought I'd treat myself to a new pair of runners (Puma Morbiums for the win). Did a short jog from one end of the store to the other to test the fit. BOOM!!! Foot blows out again. ****ing horrific.

So only another 8 metres to add to my monthly total ****!
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Sounds painful. What's the treatment for a bust plantar? (I've jus googled to find out what the plantar is).

                        Has Shaggy given up already?

Back from my holidays now and injury free (I hope). Looking at getting my first run out of the way tomorrow. Can't wait

                          Nope

Gonna do 3-4 runs a week instead of daily. Going out later......even though I'm on day 2 of a hangover.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Rest, ice and massage. I've got a splint that I wear at night which is a nightmare and seems to be making zero impact. My physio wants me to for an X-ray though as she thinks there's a chance I might have broken my foot too and then made it worse by racing on it.

I'm getting tempted to just smash myself full of painkillers and start banking miles on it. Can't get much worse!
