Well I weigh more now than I did at the start of the year. 500km ran and I've put on weight. FML

Weighed myself this morning and and I've put on another pound FFS! Absolutely no idea how as I'm exercising and eating healthily. Time for another run today then!

Tough stuff. Legs are still thrashed after last nights 65 mile hill smashing session on the bike. Took 5 miles to get loosened up!
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Just over 1000m of climbs in a killer wind. Was horrific. I'm crap at cycling!

Back on a creatine loading phase from today for next 7 days. Hoping to add another 2kg of muscle. Each loading phase I've done I've always managed to add another coupoe of kg of muscle on the weeks after. Also starting Insanity program again. Hopefully by only doing half a routine each day I'll not aggrivate my hip again like I did last time ( I have hip Dysplasia)
                        Cheers

                            Hi y'all

I did my first jog around the gated development I live in. I'm 52 overweight, play golf once a week and am sedentary most of the time I'm my home office.

I have not run in 20 years, I want to play footie in the senior town team.

I ran 2 ½ KM this morning in 12 ½ minutes and nearly puked.

How long does it take to see a difference, I want to build up to 5 km and do that every morning without killing myself.

It took 7 minutes for my heart to go back to 58/60 bpm it was racing at 140 bpm for at least half of the recovery time.

I did some stretches after ..

I guess I am doing this all wrong...?

It takes me about 12 minutes to run 2 1/2 km sat a quick training pace so I'd say you're doing pretty well

Nice blast around the streets. Dumped the Pegs and pulled out the light shoes to see how my foot could take it. It did... just

Yeah I thought it wouldn't do any good not running at a decent pace. I see fat joggers all the time..whats the point? I want to make my heart pump and I had initially tried to set off to do 5 km in under 30 mins and couldn't..obviously..lol
