Did my first jog/walk in well over a month today, was out for 30 minutes but really it was more of a ramble.
Really had to push myself to do it, felt so tired and light headed before going on the run. Didn't enjoy it at all but I'm going to try and get out again tomorrow if the weather is ok.
Going to be really disappointed if I can't do this half marathon as I've been looking forward to it all year, can't believe I picked up this ****ing injury.
It's really ****ed me up both physically and mentally.

How were your tendons? If they were OK, just keep plodding on and your head will soon be in a better space as you start to make incremental improvements on your runs.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostDid my first jog/walk in well over a month today, was out for 30 minutes but really it was more of a ramble.

I remember a few months ago when you felt a little under the weather and lethargic - some of the posters on here encouraged you to get out and run regardless and if I recall you said you felt better for it.

Don't really feel like a run today, have actually just woken up after a small snooze on the couch.
I did feel better after receiving some encouragement off here. Will go for another run tomorrow. I've not given up all hope of doing the run in November but it's not looking likely sadly.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. Ah that sucks mate. Next month! I've a couple of halfies in September but after that it's full steam ahead for marathon trainingOriginally posted by Carras_Shin_Pads View PostGutted my Ultra has been cancelled so i dont think i'll be joining the 200k club!

18- 20 milers every Sunday are going to be mega.
Didn't mind the Nimbus but I must do some weird toe curling when I run because I always rip through the fabric on the top of Asics trainers at about the 200 mile mark so can't justify the expense for something that I only get 2 month from. Pegs seem to last me ages. Thinking about trying hokos out for my next pair though. They look awesome
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
