My 2 week programme is going swimmingly at the half way point. Lost nearly a stone (all Christmas weight), down 2 belt holes, with no drop in output at the gym.

Am worried I’ll be too skinny by the end of it.

Going to do before and after pictures for the first time, so curious to see the diference.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Just signed up for the Bristol 10k at end of May to encourage me to get back out there. Couple of steady runs in the last week and should be adding to that over the coming weeks.

Managed to convince my son to follow me round on his bmx to get him exercising too. Sad thing is he was more tired than I was. On a bike!!

Anyone got their kids into running?

Training has been infrequent & short of late cos of the new job & travelling. Deadlifts were a horror show yesterday aft- only managed 3x185K. Not like this bloke: [ame="http://youtu.be/vFwwinOxeVc"]Eddie Hall 400kg x 5 deadlift RAW - YouTube[/ame]

Had my first weigh in after starting my diet/system. Lost 1.5 inches from my waist and 5lbs weight(fat) so I'm happy with the way things are progressing.

                  Bicep
                  Thigh
                  Chest
are all same size so I've not lost muscle mass which is great.

                  Waist -1.5 inches

Took two days off at the weekend but had a work out yesterday and will have another later. Aiming for between 3 and 5 a week.

11.2km. Attempting to add a 1km a week, which feels pretty easy at the moment. I expect I'll start to feel it when we get to 15km+.

Really enjoying my running at the moment!

                          Well played squire

Yes have weekends off take both sat and sun to have downtime regarding training.

You can do 4 a week if you want with Wednesday as another break day

                          MON - TUE - do a routine
                          WED - off
                          THU - FRI - do a routine.
                          SAT - SUN - off

Aim to do an hour on the days you do train and you'll start to see differences.
                          Cheers

There's an interesting challenge happening in February on one of the ultra threads on facebook you guys might find interesting...

It's run a mile a day and add a mile the next day, Mon 1m Tuesday 2m etc etc Challenge will obviously be running mega miles later on. Sounds like a bit too much like hard work so i might try the first week and bail

Nope, and it's the last one standing wins, there's a few 1000 people doing it around the world so it should be interesting, how the hell do you fit in running a week of marathons!!
