****ing nightmare. I got taken down with it on my last day in Avoriaz and I've felt like ive had the French Mountain Plague since I got back. In the last week and a bit I've been totally unable to do anything and had to bail on a trip up to Scotland last weekend to boot.
Needs to **** off pronto as I'm heading to Chamonix in 3 weeks! (And then Tignes a couple of weeks later).
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
Cant really. Unless someone wants to sort back through 4500 or so posts to pick them apart
I might move them both to the General Sport section though.
That way everyone is happy.
You should merge the what are you listening to/ watching/ last book you read in to one thread too. Sort of a general media/ pop culture consumption job. Just to keep the site consistent

+11.7km That's my 11th run this year over 10km. They are starting to feel pretty easy. Just need to keep upping the mileage now. It's finding the time for these long runs that's the problem.

well done mate - can't wait to get to that point where the runs are enjoyable!
I've been taking it easy this last week as the ball of my left foot is unusually tender. Back out tonight though for day 1 of the sub 50 minute 10k training plan
