+7.6km the other day, mud terrain run. Planning on a long one this weekend.

I have damaged the sole of my foot, right by the toes and can't seem to shake it. I feel fine whilst running, but the moment I stop it is agony! Hope it sorts itself out for the 26th April!

All the best buddy! Sure you will do great!

Cheers Turk, definitely set for a PB. Not saying much though as every half I've done so far I've really under trained for and bombed at about 10 miles. I should be good this time though.

The only worrying thing is it's meant to be very windy on the day and the last 4 miles along the Mersey are very exposed. Fingers crossed it will be wind behind!

Is that the top of your plantar? Can you stretch it out with the tennis ball? At least you've got a month to get to the bottom of it.

I think it is more, bruising around the bottom of the middle toe, noticed it starting to swell around it. Buying my marathon trainers this week and hoping they will ease the pressure. Yeah luckily I do have a bit of time to get over it.

Cheers. I think I could have gone a few minutes faster but I was running with a friend who was struggling and I didn't want to leave him behind. Still it was nice to break 2hrs and at least I have something realistic to beat next time.

I might try a 10km next. My 10km PB is 51 mins 30 currently but I've never ran a competitive 10km and I'd like to break 50 minutes.

As for your foot it sounds like rest is what you need, but obviously you need to keep training. A tricky dilemma.

Can't believe i'm bottom of the pile on nearly 60km! Been really up and down this month, had a week or so where i didn't do anything so quite pleased with that total

Never played it but it looks great! I'm not a fan of where the bubble ends though - looks like instant knee dislocation!
