He was very composed today and the result was never in doubt. He's put too much effort into his career to lose to Raonic. He was returning 140 plus mph serves in such a routine fashion you almost take the skill involved for granted.
I think he is a remarkable sportsman. He works so hard and has a constant desire to improve. He's my favourite ever sportsman, I love everything he stands for.
3 slams in the era of Federer, Nadal and Novak. What a hero.

How unlucky must he feel to be in the era of these greats. He almost appears to not be a great but it's fractions if he isn't. Put him a different era and it wouldn't be in doubt would it

Err.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostHe did to Raonic today what Novak has done to him in the past, he was relentless with his standard. There was nothing Raonic could do when he was hitting format like this, utterly amazing.
He's the greatest sportsman Scotland has ever produced.
3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Kenny was a team member, not an individual sportsman - he could rely upon some of the best footballers in the world (and I'm not talking Scottish national team!) to bale him if he was having an off day. Once Murray is out there, its all about him. No sportsman from Scotland has been as consistently brilliant at what he does as Murray, especially under such scrutiny and pressure.
