In 'normal' circumstances I'd be utterly confident that he'd win either with some confidence. But with the 'best in the world' slot on the line and Murray being Murray...

I just hope he keeps his 'good' head on.

I agree. This is huge. That said, I'd fancy him to beat anyone right now. I don't expect him to have an easy win, and I suppose becoming the best player on the planet will never be easy.

I'd like to see him back it up with at least 2 slams in 2017.

I've always said he's going to be good for 7/8 slams - hopefully more and if he doesn't get those two in 2017, well... that would be typically Murray.

A career where he has had to graft so incredibly hard for every honour, it seems weird for him to get to World No 1 without hitting a ball.

He has had the 2 longest winning streaks of his career in 2016.

He just needs to get a few more Slams under his belt to cement his place as one of the games greats.
