I like Dougherty too. Ewen Murray is still the don though imo.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Honestly I swear Scheffler hasn't missed a putt inside 20 feet for 6 months. Unbelievable. Holes everything.

New leader, DJ at -9. Adam Scott only 2 back now after a 65.

The leaderboard is pretty nicely stacked to be honest.

Still got the best swing on the tour imo, Adam Scott.

Cam Smith absolutely tearing it up. What a player.

I backed them and DJ - I always back DJ, it’s like Shaggy and Rahm

I'm amazed by the lack of backlash for LIV golfers, I'd be lashing their ball out of bounds when it was time to go home after getting a full days golf

I've been doing Rahm and Smith at every major for about 2 years now.

Smith's putting is an absolute joke. I've genuinely never seen anything like it.

                        I wondered about that.

Golf crowds too posh for protest?

That’s why he was a must on a hard St Andrew’s - you are right though…..home of golf or not unless it’s windy they eat it up. Majors should be won around -10 max. I remember Paul Lawrie winning on +7

It’s just links golf isn’t it?

If it’s good weather the jeopardy is almost totally removed so it becomes a different game. We can blame global warming - typically it would be blowing a gale.

I’m not a fan of links courses really, but due to the history I don’t see things changing, the Open will always head to St Andrews as part of the cycle.

I get all that but put the pins in ******* hard places, let the rough grow like a meadow and narrow the fairways

I think there's only one (or two) vague doglegs on the course. No course would ever be designed like that now - all dead straight, vast wide fairways. Don't get me wrong the place is magical but I think the game has sort of overtaken it now.
