Limerick are the All Ireland Champions for three years in a row, what a team. Mentality monsters to rival Klopp's boys.
Hell of a performance by Kilkenny. No other county in Ireland could have withstood what Kilkenny threw at Limerick today. Hardest Limerick have had to work in a final, be it Munster or All Ireland, in a long time.
Ahh going to be good going for my brekkie roll here in County Cork tomorrow with my Limerick flag worn as a cape and also when I am in Kilkenny later on in the week. #WUMgottaWUM.
Oh and Nev? We did it for ya, brother.

Different game I know, but couldn't find a Gaelic football thread so I'll ask here.
My Aussie Rules side Geelong has signed some young Irish hotshot called Oisin Mullin. Whats the craic with him? Should I be excited will he be a success like his new teammates Zach Touhy and Mark O'Connor, or is he likely to fail and go home with his tail between his legs like Stefen Okunbor?
Cannot say how he will take to playing in the AFL but he is a bloody good footballer.
Not the biggest of footballers but is very agile, is a fast runner on and off of the ball and he reads the game really really well and makes a lot of catches and interceptions seem really ordinary through excellent positioning. Very good at keeping play moving and doing the simple things to a high level. A hell of a lot of Mayo's play from the bck came through him. He won the young player of the year award as well over here
But if he adds a bit more concentration to his game and puts on maybe 7lbs to 10 lbs of muscle ( which he probably will as he is only around 21 years of age) then he has all the tools to be a hit.
Mullin never ended up coming over Jaco, decided to cancel his contract before he flew out here for some reason.
He might regret that now as his two 'could've been' Irish teammates Zach Touhy
and Mark O'Connor just became Premiership medal winners after Geelong absolutely battered Sydney in the Grand Final
Strong rumours Connor McKenna wants to come back and give it another crack too and we're his preferred team if he does. Could have an all Irish halfback line

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Think we had already chatted earlier in the year about the fact Mullins was not going there? That or some other Aussie was chatting to me about the same player.
Think it is a bit of a loss for both him and the AFL that he did not go there as he is an excellent young player. Big plus for Mayo of course that he stayed.
He is still a smashing player though and at 22 now he is only going to get better along with that bit bigger and stronger.
I have now gone from the he should succeed in the ALF if he went there, to he would succeed.
He is still everything I described him as being, but I think he has shown himself to be a bit of a mentality monster at times and seems to have gone up a level in terms of overall consistency.
There was a rumour here over the summer that Collingwood were looking at him so if that happens it should realy endear him to you
Amy idea what position he was being looked at for within the Geelong team?
Guess half pocket or more likely in a half-back flank role? He seems tailor made for the latter role imo but could see him excelling at half pocket too.
