Yeah big surprise seeing them playing so well. Good to see WSW beat Sydney in the derby tonight.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Perth 4th and Brisbane 2nd in the A League. Happy to see Perth up there with us after so many bad seasons for both clubs. And even better Melbourne Victory bottom of the table. Let the good times continue.

At least I’ve got the roar to enjoy right now. Another good win with a late goal. I’m absolutely stunned with the owners still there that Brisbane are actually good.

Yeah they’ve really tightened the defence up & they don’t concede many goals, unlike us.

Punishment for those involved with the Katoa head knock.

Tonga’s head doctor, Dr Peter Hackney, the team’s assistant doctor, Dr Hoani McFater and the team’s orange shirt trainer, Johnathan Crawley, were all handed proposed 24-month suspensions.

The team’s yellow shirt trainer, Steve Dean, was issued with a warning by the NRL.
Dr Hackney has previously worked for the Brisbane Broncos, but currently works for the Dolphins. Dr McFater also works for the New Zealand Warriors, while Crawley works as an assistant physiotherapist at the North Queensland Cowboys.

Thankyou for that update - didnt see this as I'm trying to steer well clear of anything NRL now as a completely pissed-off Tigers fan ... but this punishment is fully deserved - as 'Doctors' they should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah heads had to roll in Tonga & heads are certainly rolling out at Campbeltown.

What’s the deal with the board always causing trouble for the tigers. Is it down to it being two clubs put together and they can’t work together.

Pretty much, there's never ending resentment about 'working together' between Tigers & Magpies dinosaurs even after all these years, petty squabbles always seem to end up in major fallouts. They bang on about how it doesn't affect the manager and the team - complete BS - of course it does.

Its made worse this time around as I reckon 99% of Wests Tigers fans/members would say progress was finally being made across the board, the trigger this time around is that the HBG group didn't like the amount of orange in this years kit - laughable really if it wasn't so pathetic. You could tell just by talking to all the old timers in the area how positive everyone to finally see a competitive team getting on the park this coming season - now everyone is miserable as **** - haha

Just up the road from me the old Tigers club that was there for years is finally being redeveloped into flats - including shopping area and a replacement Leagues club which will be great. But, because HBG have the majority ownership in Wests Tigers they arent even naming the Tigers club the Tigers club - it will be Wests Ashfield - Rozelle Community club or something inane like that that - so damn petty.

Over the colour, wow. That’s next level petty. I hope they can still manage to have a good season. I always liked Benji Marshall. Hope he stays amid all the chaos.

I haven’t been around that area for 30 odd years I imagine.
