Oh man I’ve just seen this thread - what a brilliant idea

I’ve just come back from 2.5 weeks in Sydney over Xmas back to Oslo. I’ve realised just how much I miss cricket here, but not sure if that’s because of the game
itself or the fact that it means it’s summer

Yup he’s there. They’ve also got Jacob Farrell. I think Sammy Silvera was there for a bit on loan. They had another young Aussie there for a bit and have a good history of signing Aussie's.

Good call that it could help him settle in and get going. Let’s hope he can keep progressing as it’s a spot the national team is desperate for.

I don’t know if the players just aren’t good enough or lots of them are taking the first move to Europe and not waiting for the right move. Gone are the days of Viduka, Kewell, Neil, Emerton, Schwarzer and others playing at a very high level. I won’t mention the blue****e one here.
Haven’t Portsmouth get Yengi up front too? If so that could help him having another aussie to socialise & fit in.

So glad the Scorchers didn’t make the BBL finals this year. I want the Hurricanes to win but not last night against the Stars.

Just realised Hore is back at Brisbane after his short stint away. Great to have him back and will make a difference in attack.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw it, great win for the Roar. I didn’t realise it had been that long since there last win. Hopefully there isn’t such a long wait for the next one.

I watched that game between the heat and the hurricanes. Great watch for sure. Nice to see the test players back out there for some of the games.

Not sure if any of you saw the Big Bash last night. Fantastic match.

Brisbane Heat hit 201 in their 20 overs & The Hurricanes needed 1 run off the last ball to win & Matty Wade hit it for 6 to put them top of the table.

Yeah they seem to be able to bring through players. Thomas Waddingham the latest but he’s off to Portsmouth. I might have to watch some Portsmouth games now.

Big bash is looking good this year, seems pretty bunched up on the table. And some big 200+ scores recently.

Every time I look at their results and the stats they seem to have plenty of shots and possession but can’t do enough with it.

Looks a really competitive season at the moment. I’m a bit surprised to see CCM and Wellington drop right off. But if anyone gets on a run they could jump up the table easily.
There’s some decent young players coming through for the Roar seemingly. I watched the CCM Sydney match & 4-1 was harsh on CCM.
