I’m pretty sure Gus went up and took a lot from the broncos in his setup with Penrith. But yeah he’s done a great job there, not a fan of his but he knows what he’s doing. If he gets the Dogs going the same he’ll have everyone knocking on his door even from other sports.

I wonder if teams around the world look at them now to learn about the continued production line from within their own system. I wonder if the Broncos get themselves back to where they were they can match that production, they seemed to have that set up previously. But then they do have more competition with 3 other Queensland teams now, 2 very close by too.

They’ve got strike power in their back line & should score points for fun if everyone stays fit but we out enthused them . We got good meters from our forwards & our spine of AJ, Campbell & Kini carved them up. I still expect Dolphins in the 8 though.

A great initiative actually. You effectively play 2 quarters against the other 2 sides. Lions beat Collingwood, Suns then beat Lions & then we beat Collingwood.

They’ve been on the slide since Stajcic got fired. There is other stuff with that with what was said originally and then other stuff that came out after, don’t really know the full story and haven’t looked in to it, but they’ve not been as good since then.

The Titans bounced back in our final trial today beating Dolphins 26-18. Both sides were pretty much full strength so it was super pleasing.

How do you think the Titans will go this year? Second season under Hasler so he’s had time to implement his system.
We could just sneak top 8 but it’ll be interesting to see how the bottom 8 sides perform with numerous teams seemingly strengthening. Wests with Luai, Saints with Gutherson, Parramatta with Lomax etc We depend heavily on how Foran leads the team & yesterday he looked ordinary. It’ll be interesting to see how Carter Gordon goes after looking promising in the centres. He’s the rugby convert we got from the Wallabies how plays in the halves.

    Good start for the broncos.
The Broncos played a trial last weekend & this is our first hit out & it shows. We did have quite a few starters but also missing 5 players to the Indigenous Māori match.
