Very happy to see the lions win again and a bit surprised by the score. They look setup to potentially win another one or two in the coming seasons with the squad they have.

Watched an AFLW match last night between Geelong & Hawthorn and damn it was a good game to watch. The skill level is definitely getting better although I do feel there’s probably too many teams as the bottom clubs are terrible to watch. Final score Hawks 42-35.

And here’s hoping for a Geelong win tomorrow in the GF in the Men’s.

Nah all good, it was meant just for those in Oz. I can’t stand watching ****ty & glitchy streams anymore. I’m waiting on the replay which should be out in a few hours.

While he’s a good player Nick Daicos definitely seems to get all the attention no matter what he does. The usual vic bias in the AFL. It’s one of the reason I hate seeing people like Eddy McGuire having so much influence in the media. And how was he allowed to commentate and all that while being president of Collingwood. Same as Phil Gould in the NRL.
I agree 100%. Daicos was the favorite but he’s never the guy putting his body on the line making the tough tackles etc etc. Daicos is great when someone else is doing the dirty work & the team are doing well. Matty Rowell drags us back into matches when we look down & out. A true warrior.

Third grand final in a row for the Lions hopefully it’s another win.

Surprised they’ve got there considering the injuries but so happy they’ve done it. Always nice to beat Collingwood and to beat the Cats would top it off.

Brandon Smith appeared in Court in QLD during the week & returns in Oct or Nov again but has been told not to contact Radley or the guy they suspect supplies the drugs.

The NRL seems to be issue after issue with players getting away with all sorts on and off the field.

Did you notice this issue with Ridley only came out in the press once the Roosters went out of the finals. I wonder if the other players on that trip with him will get in trouble or more likely they say they were they innocent and had no idea what he was doing.

Victor Radley seems to have admitted guilt

    Club Statement | Victor Radley

The Sydney Roosters are aware of references in the media to communications allegedly between Sydney Roosters player Victor Radley and others in relation to allegedly obtaining an illegal substance.

While Radley has not been charged by Queensland Police, the references in the media to communications allegedly between him and others have brought the Sydney Roosters into disrepute.

Consequently, following internal discussions with senior club officials and a meeting of the Roosters Board of Directors, the Club will impose the following sanctions on Radley for the negative attention the allegations have brought to the Club:

    A 10-match suspension, without pay.
A $30,000 donation to be made to the St Vincent’s Hospital (for cancer research).
This represents the heaviest sanction ever imposed on a player in the Club’s history.

Victor Radley has accepted these sanctions and expressed his remorse.

“I want to sincerely apologise to the Club, my teammates, our sponsors, Members and fans for the negative spotlight I have brought on the Roosters. I accept the sanctions in full and will work hard to earn back the trust and respect of everyone who supports this great Club,” said Radley.

There’s no credibility in the NRL full stop. I find myself watching a lot more AFL than I ever dreamt possible a few years ago.
