I thought the lions had a chance considering they had a very good win down there a few weeks ago.

They’re a well run club and seem to get and keep lots of top players. I always thought Chris Scott came a cross a bit moody and angry but he’s pulled up the press a few times recently and called them out which I’ve enjoyed.

Cats were impressive weren't they? Seem to have the Lions at arms length for most of the match, which takes some doing

I played at Moggill. Nice to see the old club mentioned and was the last thing I expected to see. It was a lot of fun playing there with some really nice people. I’d only just moved to Australia from Hong Kong and it was a massive change in lifestyle and it definitely helped me.
I hope the FA don’t overturn Grimsby’s win over United for the same thing

Crazy isn’t it. Too many teams for the amount of quality players who aren’t playing overseas.

We didn’t just win we flogged them. Highest winning margin in our history & I can’t remember us scoring over 150 points in a game either. They weren’t bad in the start but we’d put our foot down & led by ~40 points at 1/4 time. That took the pressure off & we played with freedom after that. Damn it was a good win. Freo in Perth in 10 days time will be good.

It’s a good appointment IMO but we’ve also brought Scott Sattler back as Director of Football. Something needs to change & here’s hoping this is the defining moment in our history.

Yeah we definitely should be winning that. We’ve never won at Adelaide Oval before so that on top of their Coach Ken Hinckley’s last game plus Travis Boak retiring too made it difficult. Hopefully Essendon are on the beach holidays already.

What a mess from the AFL with Rankine and the crows.
We’ve got a midweek catch up match vs Essendon on Wednesday so it’s not over yet. 7th & 8th play each other tomorrow so we can overtake the loser of that if we win our match I believe.
