    Amr Zaki

I think that this guy would be worth a punt in january, He is big and strong and is knocking the goals in for Wigan, as far as i know he is on loan so this could prove a bit tricky.
    Any thoughts?

Shows that it's possible to work your backside off, hassle defenders all day, put in a shift for the team AND score goals. That's 5 in the league already.

Very useful player, i wonder if there'll be a scramble for him from some bigger clubs at the end of the season.

Love watching him play. He's scored some ****ing crackers this season. He's definitely a bit of a throwback - he reminds me of a cross between David Hirst and Alan Shearer. ****ing brilliant.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hirst was ****ing awesome before injuries ruined him. Was every bit as good as Shearer.

Same here Shaggy, he's just 100% hustle, puts everything into his game and has a touch of quality about him too. He can mix it physically with anyone, but also has ability to match his effort.

If his form continues, he wont be playing for Wigan next year.

Gotta love the genius of Sky...

They award Zaki, an Egyptian Muslim, the bottle of champagne for MOTM, during the holy month of Ramadan...

                      Short memory squire.

                      Hirst could do this:

                      Very Zaki-esque.

I remember having a discussion on here about Hirst and I mentioned he holds the world record for the most powerful shot (131mph). Someone asked to see it but there was no footage available on the net.

                      There is now:

You can see why I compare Zaki to him.

Zaki is only 25 too and they only have him on loan. He is some handfull and I would take him before Heskey. Valencia and Palacios are tasty too even if they dont play for a fashionable club. You can see why Rafa was interested.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

                            a) I watched a load of Hirst first hand - these are just examples. Besides, you couldn't find any footage of Voronin doing anything like that.

                            b) Man United never tried to buy Voronin. United bid £5m plus McClair (a huge sum at the time) for Hirst, who at the time was just about the hottest striker in Division One.

I seen him play a fair bit for Egypt and always rated him, i knew he would do well but even im surprised at how well he is adapting. He has been brilliant.

Wouldnt mind stealing him in January, offer us a different threat
