Bizarre stuff. Wenger is basically saying 'I dont rate this guy highly enough to buy him myself, but honestly Steve, he is good enough for your shower of ****e'.

If Wenger wanted to, he could use this trust that Bruce has in his recommendations, and have some fun with it.

Right about Palacios, he was signed for £1 million from Birmingham but Wenger did initially tip Bruce off about him when he was at Birmingham., wrong about Valenica as Paul Jewell had him on loan with a view to buy, Bruce took the option to buy (Valencia has been there since 2006)
