They'll need to play Rooney and one of the other two for it to work though. Berbatov is lazy and Owen's legs have gone, both those two need someone else ie Rooney to do their running for them! A strikeforce of Berbatov and Owen would lack mobility. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This is quite funny: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...ngland&cc=5739Jesus Quintana: You ready to be ****ed, man? I see you rolled your way into the semis. Dios mio, man. Liam and me, we're gonna **** you up
The Dude: Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man

Where would you go Hull or the PL champions?
No doubt he'll score a fair few goals for them but tbh i really dont care. He's not fit to lace Torres' boots and simply wouldnt have fitted into our style of play. Ferguson thinks he can get away with having a passenger like goalscorer in his team, the more modern coaches (like Rafa) feel they need more of a work ethic/team player with more mobility.
I still like him as a player (and for the memories) but he was never my favourite and after he stiffed us (twice) we didnt owe him the chance to resurrect his career. By choosing Newcastle he deserved all the bad luck he's had since.
No-one can persuade me that United have strengthened their attack by bringing him in. Unless they bring in 2 more outstanding forward players they'll be weaker than last year.

A bit of perspective.
If memory serves me correctly, we got £6M plus Nunez.Originally posted by redlancer View PostThoose were the 3 we recon wouldn't move.
But jury was out on Stevie.
Every footballer to some part is in it for them selves. Players have ambition which unless the ambition is with Liverpool will look like lack of loyalty.
Torres has left his club for us.
Would Carra be at Liverpool if we were a championship team?
My angle is people are sounding like the bitters.
It wasn't like Owen choose them over us, left us directly for them and going back to his Madrid move, unless someone comes out and says what happens we all guess to fuel the views we want.
Lets not forget within a year of Rafa taking over Steive considered to go twice.
What my point is we should all forget it, going to Madrid was the start of his slide, but we still have no idea who instigated it.
We got Alonso from that deal.
We should ignor Owen as all this hatred doesn't bode well with me. And we seem to be obsessed by a player Rafa and most of the fans don't want
When he was at Liverpool he gave it his best.
Which is a lot more than the likes of Cisse or recently Keane did.
Actually, Cisse and Keane also gave their best in my opinion. Their best was just woefully short of the standard required.Oh I don't know.

I've got nothing against Michael Owen. He's dead to me now..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

He may well score against us, GOD FORBID but I doubt he will celebrate.
The name is Owen and this picture proves he is a cunt.

"We haven't got his number yet, which might have had an effect, but we are not expecting a big demand even when that is known. As far as I know, no one has asked for it."
A Manchester United megastore worker reveals the fans aren't exactly going mad for it over Michael Owen shirts. (BBC Sport quotes of the week)

Aye, if we did there would be a thread devoted to his move to them, and people would be calling him all names under the sun for the betrayal that they feel he has committed. But like you say, we don't care, so we've not uttered a word.Originally posted by Resu View PostI thought they might sell a few, from people just wanting to get a reaction from LFC fans.
Maybe they realize that we don`t really care much about him anymore.
