The difference is N'gog cheated in a run of the mill Premiership game. There are 38 of those every season.

Henry cheated in what was the biggest match for the Irish team for years with qualification for the World Cup on the line. We haven't been to the World Cup since 2002 and hadn't looked remotely like qualifying for another tournament since. Both Henry and Ngog cheated but you have to put it in context.

A cheat is a cheat, does not matter if its a run of the mill game or the world cup final, I'm sure Brum supporters think different to that which you have just said.

Henry is still a legend, he had balls to do that when the whole world was watching with his credibility on the line. Everyone feels sumg when they cheat and they get away with, its an undeniable feeling, the remorse comes on reflection, was it right.

Cheating is reprehensible under any circumstances. But Brum fans can go out and watch their team play again this weekend and if they win they will forget all about N'gog's dive. World Cups only come around once every four years and are the pinnacle of any player's career. Some of the Irish players may not get another chance to play at a World Cup.

I've just seen the TV replays. There is no doubt that this was deliberate. Henry is looking at the ball and he purposely controls it with his hand. He almost caught the ball!

The Luck for the Irish is a myth. We were BY FAR the only team on the pitch last night. Did not lose 1 game in the group. Then got a seeded draw. Then went out to that "goal". What an absolute farce. We have to wait another 4 years to get the chance again, and will not even be seeded for the European Championships. Meanwhile, cannon fodder like New Zealand et al get into the World Cup in order to promote it. Who cares anyway, we're out. Pathetic.
