Similar was said when Dalla Valle and Kacaniklic were part of the deal to get PFK. The former is currently at Crewe and the latter was loaned out to FC Copenhagen for the first half of this season.

If Suso played for some other club instead of Liverpool and turned in the same performances for his club and who he was loaned to, then I really don't think many would have been crying out for us to sign him up.

I hope he does well at Milan, if only so that it keeps him safe from Enrique, but I don't think we have left some outstanding talent go.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Well you're all free to what you like and shake hands. But certain players get pushed far more then they deserve while players like this one dont even get a look in. Whether thats because the current managers never looked at him much since they never bought him or he had other issues. But to push players who never looked like they would amount to much, ie Aspas for example, is what annoys me.

I'd also like to point out that AC Milan is not in any way a small club. A couple years he'll be an excellent player. He's not one dimensional like Shelvey. And yes, I totally blame the club and management for bringing over a player they hardly ever used.

Aspas?! How did Rodgers/the club push Aspas exactly? He hardly featured last season!!! And then he was bombed out on loan.

Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but you seem convinced he'll amount to a top class player but the club, who've seen an awful lot more of him (including his attitude which has a massive part to play in whether he'll make it or not) then you or I have.

If we'd had a use for him we'd have used him I would think. A player who rarely played for us, and when he did did f'all, has left, no great shakes. Good luck to him at Milacan.

I probably should define that statement a little more. Aspas was just one name I pulled out of the hat of many players who really should not be at the club. He played something like 6 games and came off the bench 9 times across all competitions, age of 26. Suso played 9 games and around 9 sub appearances back in 2010. It's not 2015 and hes 21. That entire gap he's not been used by us, just loaned around. I'm using soccerbase for the stats if if its wrong I' not taking any flak

The point I'm trying to make is this is we've hardly had a look at him since Benitez left. Just ship him off to another club on loan while we spend money on players we didnt need to. We arent using our young players as much. Yes majority of them arent good enough, but Suso should of been the exception. We'll find out in the next couple seasons how he goes at a top club when he has a bit fo quality around him to bring out his skill.

Ie he should have been an exception because he's so good? If so, how do you know?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

By his movement. Set him up in midfield with some proper quality around him and he'll become very good. No different to Coutinho who doesnt look as good with sub standard players around him since they dont anticipate his flair for passes.

There is no way Suso will get much game time with the players we have in his position at the moment. He's not made it with us whether it's temperament, ability or something else he's not done enough to get into the match day squads. I'm sure he's been watched and assessed whether he's been at the club or when on loan.

Just another line of "the next big thing" we've seen come through the doors and leave again after never really stepping up

What about Sean Dundee? We still rue the day we let him go.

Suso looks as though he has something a bit special to me.

Seriously, I can't think of many young players who have left and made us look silly for letting them go. Usually the direction is down.

also, some players can look quite good once they go to italy or spain. often slower tempo, no.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

i don't think anyone has called milan a small club, but at the same time that aren't the same milan of say 10 years ago when they could go out and spend millions on players they like nearly every itailian club they are almost skint.

Like that hooded top he's wearing in that photo shoot wasn't a dig at the club. "Freedom"

He thought he was big time before proving himself. If he was that good, he would have had more of an impact than Pacheco did. He didn't and we have Coutinho. I know who I'd rather have!

maybe its a george michael top, one that enrique gave him.

'take it, wear it and think of me. it always looked better on you. i will remember you this way. now go, walk out the door... dont turn around now...'

                                Sticking it in now:

My contract was set to expire in June and Liverpool's offers did not satisfy me, neither economically nor in a sporting sense.

I arrived very much as a boy and I have learned a lot. I have grown, but I have not noticed a lot of trust in me.

I wanted a change of scenery. And Milan offers me everything that I needed.
