I didn't watch the game but I am going to find a stream for the next match Spain U19's play (against portugal I think). It's saying something if he was man of the match given the vast array of talent being produced in Spain at the moment. The fact he even starts a game for them is an achievement and a credit to himOriginally posted by Mostar View PostCheers Shaggy.
I hope Suso, Teixeira and Sterling get some playing time next year.
All 3 kids are future of this football club but to continue their development they need to play highly competitive football.
Being in reserves will not help them or us much.

Not sure if you have seen an entire match vs Greece but everything went through him.
Vision, touch, dribbling skills, passing etc. he was MOTM by a mile.My kebab comes with chilli sauce

He'll fit in nicely into the first team then as pretty much every player we have is one footed where as every player in the Barca team can play with both feet.Originally posted by Sconniee2 View PostIs it just me or does he not appear to use his right foot very often (if at all)?Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. I watched the under 19's against Ajax recently and concluded that most of the players were a long way off being ready for the first team. There's a massive gulf between academy football and the Premiership. I was pleasantly surprised by Sterling's cameo appearances towards the end of last season, but I remain unconvinced that any of our young players are ready to make the step up.

Not as starters but cameos off the bench surely?Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI watched the under 19's against Ajax recently and concluded that most of the players were a long way off being ready for the first team. I spoke to a few people after watching the game and we all agreed that at least people would stop clamouring for the young players inclusion in the first team. I'm only basing my opinion on one game, but none of them looked anything like ready for the first team. We were totally outclassed on the day, but even so there was nothing to suggest that any of our young players were anywhere near the quality required to press for a place in the first team.Originally posted by SB View PostNot as starters but cameos off the bench surely?

Could be different when surrounded by a better class of player though. It's different when your the go to man & others around you are out of your depth. Teams can defend against you much easier. I didn't see the game but I'm just offering a different twist on itOriginally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI spoke to a few people after watching the game and we all agreed that at least people would stop clamouring for the young players inclusion in the first team. We could do with a some lads who arent scared to have a go at people and take them on. Cue the three S's.
