Great news this, finally we're giving youth a chance to shine and show what they can do.

Centre Back but can play as a deep lying midfielder....Nominated for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year after captaining England U17s...

This will send out a positive message, to the rest of the young lads at the Academy..

Just spoke to Kenny. Suso&Coady have NOT been promoted to Melwood. Just part of ongoing programme of familiarising Academy lads to the place

Will still be good for them. They'll get a taste of being with the first team and should be hungry for more.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

@JimmyRiceTwitter Jesus wept Jimmy. And what is familiarisation process for? It's a gradual process which began yesterday.

Just to clarify Suso Coady situation. LFC best youngsters put on familiarisation programme at Melwood.

What position does Suso usually play?
From the bits and pieces i've seen from him, it looks like he's a in behind the striker man - would that be right?

Yeah but he also likes to play orthodox CM. Take a brave manager to pick him in that position, a bit like Redknapp/Modric.

                          Cool

We've some exciting prospects coming through the ranks now which is great to see.
Be interesting to see how Suso, Flanaghan, Amoo, Sterling, Robinson and one or two other youngsters progress in the next year or two.

Or like Iniesta. Can play both as a playmaker and in an attacking position.

He's also played as a Left & right winger before - he's predominantly left footed but his right isn't too bad either...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

He is really a midfielder, an advanced one. In the youth cup, he has been playing on the right wing (he's left footed) but tends to get a bit of freedom to move into a central position
