This is actually turning into a decent day for us.

Despite EVERYTHING we are still only 4 points off 4th place.

Spurs game on Wednesday night is huge.

Yep, and if Spurs play like they did today we have a great chance.

        Just read this elsewhere:

After being held by Hull today, a defeat to us should send Spurs into a tailspin. Everton are currently taking City down a peg or to and Villa face Arsenal next week.

A win at Wolves and we could be fourth this time next week, unbeaten in five and all around us suddenly looking wobbly.

A lot of ifs and buts there but it goes to show how quickly things can turn around.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

          Indeed

In fact why couldn't we have had a referee and linesman who knew the rules of football

              Everton

Guys, the bottom line is that we have blown leads all season because we have been too scared to play openly and kill teams off. For me thats one of Rafa's biggest failing this season, too often he has allowed his team to go into negative mode and try to protect a 1-0 lead when he has know how shaky his defence is.

When your defence is shaky then the best form of defence is attack

I hate cliches, but i'm going to use one.

The standard of the league this season, is woeful.

There's not one standout team who you'd look at and say, 'yep, they are formidable and look like champions'. Not one.

Chelsea looked wobbly of late. The mancs are a one-man team and the definition of average. Arsenal are flashy without strong substance. We've forgotten how to play football. Spurs are what Spurs always are, fairly good but without bottle. Villa are inconsistent and have a shallow squad. City are a midtable side with some very good players added, but without a proper longstanding winning mentality.

If we'd produced last season's tally this year, we'd have pissed it this season. Would've had the title wrapped up by the end of April.

                  ****'s sake.

I agree. Had we kept Alonso, Arbeloa and Hyypia, we would have pissed it.

Agreed. Anyone who says the Premier League is the best in the worldd!!!!1111 is either stupid or ignorant. Far better football in Spain and competition between teams in Italy as well

It's been the best in the world in the last couple of years but this year every top side has either significantly weakened or stood still (Chelsea). La Liga is a stronger league today, but I don't agree about Serie A at all. It remains ****e.

Watching Milan - Siena, with one eye, Milan look like they have improved a bit, solid, keep the ball well and Beckham is always a danger from the right. Will be interesting to see them against United.
                          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

For seeing many teams battle for the top and for any team being able to get there, the Bundesliga is excellent. Not the best quality of football, but it has genuine surprise teams who battle to the top.

Its actually been a decent weekend for us with Villa also drawing 0-0 at home to West Ham. Spurs & Villa both had what they would have considered 'home-bankers'
