best quotes of sky sports last night from outside celtic park at around 11pm - 11:30pm.

two celtic fans who looked and sounded like they had come straight from getting their methadone:

"you might as well just put our name on the league trophy now. with keano in the team we cany fail"

"i'm only here to see robbie keane tonight"

first up, robbie keane is ****ing dross and even in the scottish leagues he wont score more than 5 league goals i bet. as a bit of a hibs fan i could claim the same now we have signed alan gow!!!

secondly, why else would you be at celtic park at near midnight if not to see robbie keane you ****!!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Keane will do well in Scotland
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yes, being passed it is no hinderance to success in Scotland

I'm living in Scotland, so see some Scottish football, and the standard is very poor IMO, that's why I shudder when people mention we should sign the likes of Boyd

Oh, and Keane will score goals for fun in the SPL. How his stock has fallen over the last 18 months

Well Keane certainly seems to have rediscovered his Liverpool form according to the match report I read this morning he missed a couple of sitters

To not even bring in one is crazy.
Neither of those players would be any better than Kuyt or N'gog.

They'd have increased our options though. Kuyt can play up front, but then we need to fill his position at right mid. Maxi's not upto scratch yet.

And N'Gog is one option, but what happens if we need another option?

Taking either of those players on loan, would've done us no harm at all. It may or may not have proved useful, but it would've been a no-lose situation.

It IS ok to disagree with, or question a decision made by the management of the club.

I know, but in this case, I was just disagreeing with Marky. I don't think either would be what we needed.

They'd just be alternative options, as i said. They might've done a job for us, or they may not have. Either way, it would've been at very little cost - what would we have had to lose?

We may simply have had no gain from having them either, they could even have a negative effect you don't know. As I said Kuyt and N'gog in my eyes are better players.
Kuyt has more goals this season than Benjani has in his entire time at City (he has 4 in 23)
And while Beattie has 9 goals in his time at Stoke, both Kuyt and N'gog provide a lot more than he does.

Is Kalou better than Drogba or Anelka? No but he gives Chelsea another option.

Is Owen better than Rooney? No but he gives United another option

Is Vela better than Van Persie? No but he gives Arsenal another option.

The more options you have the better it is for the team.
