Stoke's Matthew Etherington under pressure to settle huge gambling debts
You wrong because there's no cure for it. Keep up man
At the very least he should be made illegal.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Paul.S and MrM are the forces on here. However, I am organising a an Est posters union called FOF (**** Off Fredo) to keep the pressure on until such time as they bow-wow to our demands.

But they've tried before and Fredo's kept having a 'renaissance'. No union will get the better of him, he's too stubborn and too cunning to be ousted from here.
I'd do a deal. Let's try to defy the laws of nature and let's banish this dog and cat hate malarkey and try to be civilised for once.
I bow to your superior maturity oh Neil, I'll bless your each and every post for the remaining days of my life , but let's put this to bed, for the love of god.

May the Lord bless this jibber jabber.

For Max and anyone else who is interested I found an article that indicates that some pharmacological treatments might be effective against gambling addiction:

I think gambling is addictive - maybe to me. Moreso these days with the advent on the online sites like betfair where you cannot physically see the money you are handing over. I went through a mad month a few years back and, having won a lot then lost the lot (and then some) looked through the bets I made - a £200 bet on Trotting ffs - I have never even seen the sport on tv. The rush I used to get when I hit refresh and the balance on the screen went up by £1k was incredible. If I physically had to hand over this money I never would have bet in the first place. Never again though - lost about £5k all in all.
