Starting to think we should replace him. He's been **** since the howler in Hodgson's first game (v Arsenal). Lost for words with what's happened to him.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
It's ****ing weird, he obviously loved Rafa and did well with Valero but it shouldnt cause such a huge drop off because he's not playing under his fav manager or coach. Dip a little bit fine but he's more of a hindrance than a help now and I couldnt imagine ever saying that about him.
Really think he's struggled for a couple of years now. We're short in the forward areas which is a priority but definitely need to look at him at some point.
He's never been a great shot stopper, the strongest part of his game was as the sweeper-keeper under Rafa, where he would come off his line and deal with things before they became a danger. Under Hodgson and Dalglish that changed and mistakes started to creep into his game. I think in the new system under Rodgers he is looking for the outball before he makes the save which is leading to him not making the save.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Reina is a strange one, crazy dip in form. Can Rafa/ a GK coach really make that much difference?
Personally I think a GK can make a big difference, I remember under Corrigan we had a load of decent keepers that after working with him for a while became dodgy, James, Friedel, Westerveld...
