Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

@garyjacob again quotes @TonyEvansTimes in the webchat. Tony says #LFC looking to get rid of #Reina due to high wages (doesn't say when)
That's very worrying if true, not just getting rid of Pepe but the direction it would be sending us in. It makes sense to cut the wages by getting rid of players on high wages who rarely played (Aquilani, Cole etc) but if we are getting rid of key first team players because they are on high wages that is something completely different.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If he's on those wages then why is he linked to Arsenal?

On those wages only the big spenders would be interested and I can't think of any in need of a keeper. So if we go to the next tier, how much would we have to compensate him and how does that compare when added to the new keepers wages?

          Bollocks IMO.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Hopefully this Reina stuff is pure BS. But FSG are worried too much about the financial side rather than the footballing side.. Its always right to consider the financial side but football shoulf be the priority..
BR said in the recent fansite interview that we wont become a selling club.. I hope he sticks to his word.
BR : "Liverpool isnt just a Football club, Its a way of Life."

Come on, it stinks of absolute bull. If he's selling Reina, then wages isn't the reason. It's just another attention seeking tweet by Evans to try and be relevant, but he's just a loud-mouthed. 'look at me, I'm a super Red journo' abomination.

If we bought another goalkeeper in the summer e.g. Krul or te Stegen, they'd be on a high wage too.

Jack Butland has told his bosses at cash-strapped Birmingham that he will only move on for first team football.

The troubled Championship side have a plan to sell the £6million-rated keeper this month to raise funds and stave off administration.

But the England international is playing regularly for Blues and is reluctant to leave if it means sitting on another club's bench.

Liverpool, Everton, Southampton and Fulham are all interested in the 6ft 4in teenager, who kept goal for Great Britain at last year's Olympic Games.

Butland, 19, is hoping to join Liverpool if boss Brendan Rodgers sells Pepe Reina, who's been linked with Arsenal, this month.

Don't the Mirror peddle the same Reina story every transfer window?

                    I was thinking that too.

We really shouldn't be putting all of our goalkeeping eggs in a 19 year old.
                      Hello mert.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Be interesting to see if Barca put in a bid at the end of the season now Valdes has said he won't be signing a new contract.
