    Looking on the bright side, at least we can now all get back to talking about sausages and slagging off Hodgson.

    Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

      To be fair though, not knowing how good or bad the Quatar bid was, but it's good for the game that world cups are going to such countries.

                            You could ask the same of any of the bidders. And let's be honest the scope for a lasting legacy (whatever that means in practice) is greater in Russia and Qatar than it is here.
